Can you share a bit about your background?
I grew up in the central part of Italy (Pesaro) and after studying biology in Bologna (Italy), I moved to Germany where I learned German and performed research in Immunology, obtaining a PhD in that field. A postdoctoral research work in Immunology was conducted at Sandoz in the German speaking park of Switzerland (Basel). Later, together with a group of European scientists, I moved to the USA working on research projects for Hoffman La Roche in Nutley NJ. I then learned the skills of proper medical writing and finally I combined this knowledge to work as a director of pharmacology at Hurley Consulting Associates, an international consulting company. I retired in 2024 and am enjoying my free time activities including Yoga, Qigong, Tai Chi, pickleball, travel, and photography.
