Widow/Widowers Connections
The Widow/Widowers Connections are monthly support groups which provide an open and positive atmosphere to help those who have lost spouses/partners to navigate their “new normal.” The groups also provide an opportunity to meet new friends who understand your loss, and to share experiences and resources for continuing support.

“My husband passed away 11 years ago. At that time a friend of mine who was on the program committee of AIM asked me to join her committee and asked if I had any ideas.
That was when “The Widow/Widowers Connection was born. I started the idea of a continuing support group for people who have lost their partners.
Since then, my original group has been meeting for 9 years and my second group for 6 years. We now have 4 groups with a fifth starting in January. It has been very fulfilling to have these people in my life. We have become friends and care very much about each other.”
